Tim Freeland and Domenic Torzi source this Fiano from the idyllic Adelaide Hills' hamlet of Kersbrook. Steep and rugged granite and quartz terroir provides a perfect home for this native southern Italian variety. Low yielding, the small thick skinned berries produce wine of exceptional flavour.

Coupled with their non-interventional, vegan friendly approach to winemaking, Longhop wines are fresh, generous and full of flavour.

Refreshing notes of honeydew, lemon zest, white peach and apple.

Food match with seafood, creamy pasta dishes, poultry and salads.

Fiano

Aromatic and intensely flavoured, Fiano is a variety on the move.

2024

2024 saw a return to what would be described as normal vintage throughout the 'Hills in regard to weather patterns.
Good spring rains and consistent flower set had the vines primed for producing quality fruit.
Harvest commenced in the Autumn, with no adverse weather to cause any heartache, although there was a rush on the whites as vineyards ripened in close succession.
All in all quality is outstanding.
